These terms apply to the beta period. By using Taskive during beta you agree to the terms below. They may be updated as the service matures — see Section 12 for how we notify you of material changes.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Taskive (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Taskive (“we”, “us”, “our”) regarding your use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.
The Service is currently in beta testing and is provided as-is, without any guarantee of uptime, availability, or feature stability.
We are actively developing Taskive and appreciate your patience and feedback during this period.
Data loss is possible during the beta period despite our best efforts to maintain backups. Schema migrations, infrastructure changes, and beta resets may affect stored data.
We strongly recommend that you keep your own copies of any critical data you store in Taskive during the beta period. We will provide reasonable advance notice before any intentional data reset, but this cannot be guaranteed for unexpected failures.
To use the Service you must create an account. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice where required to protect the Service or other users.
Taskive's AI features — including task risk scores, burnout signal indicators, focus mode rankings, task extraction from documents, and knowledge base suggestions — are algorithmic estimates provided for informational purposes only.
You retain ownership of your content. Any tasks, projects, descriptions, comments, files, knowledge base entries, or other data you submit to the Service (“User Content”) remains your property.
By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you and your team — including passing relevant content to AI providers to generate AI-powered features. We do not claim any ownership rights in your User Content.
All rights in the Service itself — including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation — are owned by or licensed to us and are not transferred to you under these Terms.
We welcome feedback, suggestions, and bug reports about the Service. Any feedback you provide may be used by us to improve the Service without any obligation to compensate you or to keep it confidential, unless we have a separate written agreement that says otherwise.
The Service is currently provided free of charge during the beta period. We may introduce paid tiers in the future. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice before any changes affect your account, so you have the opportunity to evaluate the new pricing before committing.
By you: You may close your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. You may also request deletion of your data by contacting us at coms@taskive.ai.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct that harms other users or the Service, or if we decide to discontinue the Service (in which case we will provide reasonable notice and data export capability).
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections 6, 7, 11, and 12 of these Terms survive termination.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100). During the beta, while the Service is free, this cap applies in full.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or by displaying a prominent notice within the Service before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should close your account before the effective date.
